Dynamic proportions, precise lines and sculptured surfaces: The BMW 7 Series shows typical BMW design in its most elegant form. Be it in the forward-surging front, the extended side view or powerful rear, the BMW 7 Series radiates its natural and authoritative presence from every angle.

ACTIVE AIR STREAM KIDNEY GRILLE.
One uniquely distinctive design detail in the front view of the BMW 7 Series is the Active air stream kidney grille. The air vents with their slats in Chrome are visible and actively regulate the airstream. If the cooling demand for the engine increases, the air vents are opened. In the closed state they improve aerodynamics and ensure a striking presence due to the vertical slats in Chrome.
INTERIOR DESIGN.
Whichever seat you occupy in the BMW 7 Series, you feel the contemporary and future-orientated atmosphere of luxurious wellbeing. A virtuosic composition of material, light, shape, colour and innovative technologies to accompany people who wish to move things – be it from the rear or from the driver’s seat.

REFINEMENT.
The BMW 7 Series represents precision and quality craftsmanship at a supreme level. Evidence of this is the Floating Design Mirror: The side mirrors appear to grow organically out of the window outline. Modern and elegant in their effect, they also enhance the aerodynamics. Other examples of genuine detail refinements are the Active air stream kidney grille with vertical slats in Chrome, the high-precision and powerfully distinctive appearance of the wheel design and the seamlessly incorporated Hofmeister kink.
On the inside, high-quality materials such as chrome with interior trims in Poplar Grain Grey fine-wood finish and seats with upholstery such as exclusive ‘Nappa’ leather in Ivory White create a harmonious combination. Also displaying a high level of handicraft is the instrument panel, which includes features that are individually matched during the production process to create a seamless overall picture.
The BMW Individual Collection with an exclusive colour and material scheme offers additional varied options for designing the BMW 7 Series. These include the upholstery colour of the BMW Individual full-leather trim ‘Merino‘ in Mediterranean Brown Tartufo with hand-crafted details such as the stitching in woven look, hand-braided piping and colour-contrasting seams.

THE BMW 7 SERIES – DRIVING LUXURY. KPM FOR BMW SCULPTURE IN PORCELAIN.
Timeless elegance, dynamic proportions and perfect aesthetics: the design of the BMW 7 Series sets standards. It unites power and authority and with every contour stands for supreme exclusivity and true luxury.
This emotive design language inspired BMW and KPM Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin to take part in an exclusive cooperation project: the KPM for BMW porcelain sculpture. The meticulously handcrafted sculpture creates a unique connection between the exclusive elegance of the BMW 7 Series and the perfect craftsmanship of the traditional Berlin porcelain manufactory. Artistically reduced to the essential design features, it combines the iconic silhouette of the vehicle with a monolothic porcelain plinth. The latter is elaborately glazed and has a surface texture reminiscent of the BMW 7 Series model used in communication. The 1:18 scale vehicle is produced from white biscuit china, which resembles Parian marble on account of its reduced light reflection.
The KPM for BMW porcelain sculpture is limited to an edition of 500 pieces worldwide. Every item is carefully numbered and, on request, can be further personalised with calligraphic lettering in platinum. A unique item for everyone, who appreciates the special and loves the exceptional.

From 1 September 2016, the sculpture will also be available in the KPM sales galleries and from selected KPM specialist retail partners.

Selected materials, an ingenious design and outstanding functions – contemporary luxury has many facets. The special edition “Montblanc for BMW” celebrates the passion shared by both brands for the utmost quality and craftsmanship. To mark this, Montblanc has developed a collection of selected accessories exclusively for the BMW 7 Series.
The leather creations and writing utensils are perfect companions – for everyday use or for long, luxurious journeys. All items have a refined embossing in the BMW 7 Series style as well as a “Montblanc for BMW” signature. From spring 2016 onwards, the exclusive series will be available worldwide as part of the BMW Lifestyle Collection at selected BMW dealerships and in Montblanc boutiques.
